Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes with all the ingredients for marinating, including minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and chili flakes. Mix well to coat the chicken thoroughly.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better flavor.
Cooking
  1. Once marinated, thread the chicken onto skewers, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Air fry the chicken for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. The chicken will become golden brown and crisp on the edges while remaining juicy inside.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the seasoned butter by mixing softened butter with additional lemon juice, a pinch of salt, black pepper, and optional chili powder.
  5. Once the chicken is fully cooked, baste it generously with the seasoned butter while it is still hot.
Assembly
  1. Warm the naan bread in a skillet or air fryer until soft enough to fold easily.
  2. Lay the naan flat and spread a generous layer of tzatziki sauce.
  3. Add a handful of French fries, followed by the juicy buttered chicken pieces.
  4. Top with diced red onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
  5. Wrap the naan tightly with parchment paper to hold everything together.

Notes

For an even deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight. If you like extra spice, increase the chili flakes or add jalapeños. Make sure to preheat the air fryer for the best results.
