Method

Preparation
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Break the beef into crumbles as it cooks, allowing it to brown thoroughly.
  2. Once the beef is browned, incorporate the chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, oregano, and ground cinnamon into the skillet. Pour in some water to help combine the spices.
  3. Stir everything together to ensure even coverage of the spices over the beef. Turn up the heat to high until the mixture comes to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Taste the seasoned beef and add sea salt to your preference.
  5. Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef, then top with fresh lettuce, chopped tomato, shredded cheddar cheese, guacamole, diced onion, and cilantro.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating your beef with spices an hour before cooking. If looking for a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or a splash of hot sauce. To serve, set up a taco bar for customization.
