Preparation
- In a medium-sized bowl, add all the marinade ingredients. Using a whisk, mix them thoroughly until well combined.
- Pat the ribs dry with a clean paper towel to help the marinade adhere better.
- Gently lift one corner of the membrane on the ribs and pull it off to ensure better marinade absorption.
Marination
- Transfer the ribs into a 9x13 baking dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring it covers the meat completely.
- Rub the marinade into the ribs with your hands, allowing the flavors to penetrate.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 to 60 minutes, or longer for optimal flavor.
Cooking
- After marinating, remove the ribs from the marinade (discarding any excess). Cook using your preferred method: grilling, baking, or smoking.
Notes
For maximum flavor, marinate overnight. Removing the membrane is important for flavor absorption. Maintain low heat when grilling to avoid burning the ribs.
