Ingredients

Meat Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Provides a rich, hearty base for the meatballs.
  • 1 pound Ground Lamb Adds a deep flavor to the meatballs.
Seasonings and Herbs
  • 1 tsp Salt Enhances overall flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper Adds a touch of spice.
  • 2-3 Tbsp Minced Fresh Mint Offers a refreshing element.
  • 1/4 cup Minced Shallot Brings sweetness and depth.
  • 1 tsp Oregano Classic herb for Mediterranean dishes.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Adds a fragrant kick.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Use your hands to thoroughly mix them together.
  3. Scoop out the meat mixture with a small cookie scoop (about 1 inch in size) and roll them into balls. Place them on a lined cookie sheet, spaced about 1 inch apart.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Transfer the meatballs to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess grease.

Notes

Use high-quality meat for the best flavor. If the mixture feels too sticky, refrigerate for about 30 minutes before forming meatballs. You can add chopped spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition and try varying herbs and spices to suit your taste.
